My Writings. My Thoughts.
another great WIRED article – the New Rules
// July 17th, 2009 // No Comments » // technology
WIRED is by far my favorite magazine (and one that I still subscribe to rather than read solely online). This month’s issue had a very entertaining article titled How to Behave: New Rules for Highly Evolved Humans. The article, along with having some great illustrations and awesome typography (as usual), detailed the do’s and don’ts of today’s internet-hungry society.
Here are a few that stood out for me:
- Ask a Basterd: Am I a Jerk if I Dump Our Sucky Rock Band Bassist? (Funny)
- Meet Online Friends in the Real World (Sad)
- If You Can’t Buy It Online, Feel Free to BitTorrent (Surprising it’s promoted)
- Balance Your Media Diet (Pictured below – Scary…mine’s usually combining multiple “food” groups at once)
- Ask a Basterd: Can I Post My Wife’s Butt on Twitter Without Asking? (What?!)
- There’s No Such Thing as Too Many Friends (Hmm)
- Ditch the Headset (Funny)
- Don’t Work All the Time – You’ll Live to Regret It (Sad, but true)
- Holsters: A Style Guide (Wow)
