I am amazed at how many different social networking sites there are. And then of course there’s blogs and social networking sites that have widgets or apps to let you use each one inside each other one. On my Facebook account I had listed quite a few of my networks in my website section. I thought it was kind of a pain, but thought, hey, maybe someone uses one and not the other, I should just list a bunch of them. Then I found Plaxo. Plaxo has almost all of the sites I had already registered with and then a TON more.
There’s of course Facebook, Digg, MySpace, Twitter, YouTube, LiveJournal…and jeez, it just keeps going on and on. When I signed up I had 19 networks to add. And now there’s more I’m curious about. Oy. Good thing I hadn’t tried to add them all to my website list on Facebook. Now I can just add the link to my Plaxo account and everyone can go from there to click on my other networks. Convenient.
